Last week the Chanel boutique and Claiborne Swanson (of Beau boutique) co-hosted a party at John Traina’s home in celebration of the 80th birthday of the Little Black Dress.

Claiborne looked fabulous in her new little black dress from Chanel.

But the best moment of the evening was seeing that Vanessa Getty has not lost her fashion mojo, as we began to fear last month when she wore Bob Mackie to the Symphony. This is the Getty we know and love — understated yet interesting, sexy yet demure and always impeccable.
