Lokey’s $33 million donation

Lorry Lokey has just donated $33 million to the Institute for Stem Cell Research at Stanford. After selling Businesswire for $500 million last year (which he founded), Lokey has been giving money to a number of Universities. He says, “It’s great to move in and be a lead donor. It’s more exciting than owning a jet plane.”
