While at Lake Tahoe, you might enjoy taking a tour of the Thunderbird Lodge, which was just featured in the San Francisco Chronicle. “Visualize a secluded world of high-stakes poker games, secret tunnels, excursions in racy Duesenbergs or speedboats and Bill, the pet African lion, roaming the house,” says the Chronicle of the historic 1930s home.
