If you have, by all means let him in! He’s cute, he’s been working hard, and best of all — he’s from Cartier!

The Cartier Page has been all over San Francisco hand delivering one of the hottest invites of the season, to the boutique’s private opening night party on September 6th. The event is designed by Stanlee Gatti, with Paula le Duc catering, so you know it’s going to be great.

Some of the folks said to be receiving the special Cartier gift box are Mayor Gavin Newsom, Danielle Steel, Dede Wilsey, Sloan and Roger Barnett, Carl and Yurie Pascarella, and Lisa and John Pritzker.

The September 6th party at the store’s big, fabulous new boutique (250 Post Street) will be the kick-off to the social season, which is crowded with several exciting events (it’s true, I’ve had a Barney’s countdown clock ticking for a month!)

The 6th happens to be the night immediately prior to the opening gala of the San Francisco Opera — so there’s going to be some fantastic temptations for the ladies who really want to make a statement, like the little trinkets you see above. Are you feeling the love yet? I know I am!

And to commemorate the opening of the store, while also supporting the community, Cartier has specially created three exclusive “Love Charity” bracelets whose sales benefit three San Francisco charities.

Proceeds from the sale of the royal blue bracelets support The Forbes Norris MDA/ALS Research Center at CPMC; the dark gray bracelet supports The J. David Gladstone Institutes; and the chocolate brown bracelet supports The Pritzker Center at UCSF. Isn’t that fabulous?

I mean, not to be catty or anything, but these Cartier bracelets are so much nicer than the neon colored rubber things that people wore throughout 2006. Not only do you support charity, you look totally elegant doing so.

(And speaking of elegance — our well-dressed Mayor, who will be at the event, has declared September 6, 2007 as “Cartier Love Day” in San Francisco!)
