Christine Pelosi is marrying Peter Kaufman this Valentine’s weekend, which according to political grumblings, is why mother of the bride Nancy adjourned Congress early this week. The location of the big event is not publicly known. But wouldn’t I love to be a fly on the wall when Super Dems Christine and Nancy Pelosi start talking shop (even though it’s a wedding, how could they not?)

Both women are Super Delegates (Christine is in that elite club of 66 because she heads the platform committee of the California Democratic Party, and like her mother she seems to be leaning toward Obama.)  Together, their two votes will have more power in nominating the next presidential candidate than thousands of regular voters, so it’s no small matter to know what their thoughts are.
