The Googirl? Marissa in San Francisco

Marrisa Mayer is featured this month in “San Francisco” magazine in an article bearing the unfortunate title of “Googirl.” Bad title, but good article, so read and enjoy it here.

Some points I noted — she probably has more money than Madonna, people at Google have more respect for her than one previously thought, she loves duck confit sloppy joes, grilled cheese sandwiches from Four Seasons room service, and vanilla fudge frosting (though not together), and Serge Brin recently showed up at her Palo Alto home in a white latex suit with matching hood.

Oh, and she might be leaving Google in two years.

“I helped build Google… but I don’t like to rest on [my] laurels. I think the most interesting thing is what happens next.”
