HE is the vintner and owner of Napa’s Blackbird Vineyards, and is said to devote himself to the “business of leisure.” SHE is the new San Francisco Editor of Daily Candy (a must read for every stylish woman in the city!) Together, Michael Polenske and Kimberly Miller are our pick for this month’s Cutest Couple in San Francisco.

They first caught our attention a few weeks ago at the infamous “PJ party” Christopher and Amber Marie Bently held at their Nob Hill penthouse. They stood out even in a room full of revelers in slinky, sexy, satiny bed-wear (sorry kiddies, I can’t publish the photos… but you might find them here.)

We saw them again at the opening for Le Club, dressed perfectly for the occasion in casual luxe (he was casual in jeans, and she was luxe in a velvet dress. Sometimes it’s good for the guy to dress down a bit so that the woman really shines.)

But our favorite style moment for the Polenske-Miller duo was at a recent party where (as you see in the photo at top), they were the very image of old Hollywood glamour. The only thing Polenske is missing to perfect the look is Cary Grant’s ascot.

Such style they have! They’re both impeccable and understated, totally elegant, yet also youthful and athletic.

With his impressive business history (he was an investor in hot companies like Soho House, Boulettes Larder, and has over 20 years history in investment management), and with her powerful new media position, these two could be the next big power couple on the City’s cultural scene. And it doesn’t hurt that they’re nice to look at.
