My dear friend Laura Albert, the famous San Francisco author who wrote the JT LeRoy books that caused such a sensation when they came out, recently made a big splash in the Paris social world.

She sent us these photos from one of the parties she attended, where she found out that Christian Lacroix and his wife Francoise read her books and are big fans of hers.

“I wore my Scatha dress and everyone thought is was Lacroix,” she says. “And the best of it is — he actually offered me a dress!! I felt like a princess – and ate like pig – best combo!”
