What Raphael House Means to SF

When we received the invitation to an October 14th fundraiser breakfast to benefit Raphael House, we gasped when we saw the time it’s to begin: 7:30 AM.  We usually struggle to make it to champagne brunch by 10:00, darling!

So when we noticed that several friends were happily planning to attend the breakfast we realised just how devoted people are in their support of Raphael House, an organization which relies completely on private donations.

With an operating budget of $2.3 million, proceeds from events such as the benefit breakfast are crucial to Raphael House’s programs, including: food and shelter for children and their parents, children’s programs, and financial education for parents to help end the cycle of poverty.

The cost is $50 per person.  Tickets can be purchased by contacting Flavia Henrique at 415.345.7262 or by email at fhenrique@raphaelhouse.org.

In the following pages, we have asked some prominent individuals in the City why they support Raphael House.  When you read what they have to say, we hope you’ll be inspired to come to the breakfast, or make a private donation yourself!
