Kendall Wilkinson Debuts Home Collection and Design Studio

About 200 people recently joined Kendall Wilkinson, one of San Francisco’s leading interior designers, at a launch party for her debut home collection at her newly remodeled Presidio Heights store and design studio.

The party benefited the charity Rebuilding Together, which provides free home repair and renovations to low income, elderly, and disabled San Franciscans.

Wilkinson, shown here with Norah Stone, greeted a stylish crowd dressed in a stunning Etro blue iridescent taffeta blouse and Thule lace skirt.

Kendall Wilkinson Home contains an assortment of luxurious trappings, including a custom collection of sculptural lacquer and Lucite tables and chairs, carved mirrors, contemporary and antique lighting, and very select accessories.

Fashion forward in concept, Wilkinson’s furniture has striking silhouettes, strong presence and elegant details. “My pieces are like couture gowns, timeless statements that create a lifestyle rather than reflecting one,” she notes.

The store rotates themed vignettes every 6 weeks, and the party introduced “Green with Envy”, a collection of lush and layered home décor items that all have the environment at heart. From glam London lighting made of recycled materials to couture furniture pieces created using socially aware and sustainable products, the theme of the store this fall is infusing eco-friendly design with high fashion elements, including this season’s tweeds and velvets and plums.
