Jennifer Lopez Has a Plan B
For San Francisco film lovers, we are pleased to present this story from “The Moving Picture.”
Jennifer Lopez has signed on to star in Plan B, a romantic comedy being developed by CBS Films, one of the first projects from the studio to get a green light. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch are producing via their Escape Artists banner.
The movie centers on a single woman who conceives twins through artificial insemination (her Plan B) only to meet the man of her dreams (her Plan A) on the very same day. It was written by Kate Angelo, a former writer for the sitcoms Will & Grace and Becker.
The Maid and Manhattan and Wedding Planner star last hit the screen in 2006 in Cantante, El and Bordertown. She took time off to concentrate on her family and music career.
The producers are currently seeking a director as well as the male lead, with production scheduled to start in the spring.
Lopez is also getting ready to film The Governess, a heist comedy from director Nigel Cole (Calendar Girls) due out in December 2009.
