As you are well aware this is the week in December when we take a day off to stop our normal routine and celebrate someone very special to us all. We refer, of course, to Tatiana Sorokko (did you have someone else in mind?)

As she was born December 26th, the day after Christmas (known as “Boxing Day” throughout the world, pertaining to lovely velvet jewelry boxes, we assume), some of her friends wisely celebrated her birthday this year over a week in advance, before the holiday hangovers set in.

The setting was the glamorous Bulgari store on Post Street, where guests such as Dede Wilsey, Denise Hale, and Elizabeth Thieriot seemed, well, perfectly at home.
