Jonsson and Pinder facing BB vote
For San Francisco readers keeping up-to-date on world news, we are pleased to present this story from The BBC.
TV star Ulrika Jonsson and model Lucy Pinder will go head-to-head later as they face the first public eviction on reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother.
The pair are in the running after their fellow housemates chose to save former boyband star Ben Adams from the vote.
All three contestants were nominated earlier in the week by the head of the house, Terry Christian.
He accused Jonsson of having a big ego and said Pinder was the least talented of the celebrities.
The evicted star will be interviewed by the Channel 4 programme’s presenter, Davina McCall, on a live show at about 2230 GMT.
Pinder was the 4/11 favourite for eviction with bookmaker Ladbrokes, which gave Jonsson odds of 2/1 to leave the house on Friday.
Rival company Paddy Power could not distinguish between the two, offering odds of 5/6 for both contestants.
Failed task
Meanwhile the remaining celebrities failed a paparazzi-style shopping task when they did not spot the former Celebrity Big Brother finalist Michael Barrymore waving at them.
Coolio, Pinder and Shameless actress Tina Malone were told to stake out the garden to photograph non-housemate celebrities.
Pinder’s friend and fellow glamour model Michelle Marsh was lifted above the wall in a cherry-picker as the stars snapped away.
But only Malone and rapper Coolio were in the “press pen” when Barrymore was lifted over the wall.
They did not notice him waving and failed their part of the shopping task.
In 2006, Barrymore was runner-up to “fake” celebrity Chantelle Houghton in the fourth series of the show
