Rob Zombie has announced that Ezra Buzzington has joined the cast of H2, the upcoming sequel to his remake of John Carpenter’s Halloween. The actor will play Ned Atkins – beer delivery man for The Rabbit In Red Club.

Buzzington, who has appeared in Fight Club, Me, Myself & Irene, The Hills Have Eyes and Mirrors, filmed scenes for Zombie’s first Halloween flick but they were excluded from the final cut.

H2 is a direct sequel to the 2007 film, following the aftermath of Michael Myers’ murderous rampage through the eyes of the sister he hunted.

Zombie, who has said the flick won’t resemble the original second installment, also announced that Composer Tyler Bates will be scoring the flick. Bates provided the score for the first film as well as Slither, The Day the Earth Stood Still and Watchmen.

The cast from the first flick will remain the same – Scout Taylor-Compton as Laurie Strode, Malcolm McDowell as Dr. Sam Loomis, Daeg Faerch as young Michael Myers, Sheri Moon Zombie as Deborah Meyers and Tyler Mane as Michael Myers.

Production is slated to begin in March.
