Opposites Attract for Jay Chandrasekhar
For San Francisco film lovers, we are pleased to present this story from “The Moving Picture.”
Jay Chandrasekhar, member of the Broken Lizard comedy team, has signed on to direct Opposites Attract, report the trades.
Written by Dan Ewen, Opposites is a body-switching comedy involving a young couple who must “walk a mile in each other’s shoes” in order to make their relationship work. Chandrasekhar is aiming to make an R-rated take on the body-switching genre while looking at the differences between the sexes.
Chandrasekhar directed the Broken Lizard flicks Puddle Cruiser, Super Troopers, Club Dread and Beerfest. He also helmed the big screen version of The Dukes of Hazzard, which starred Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott.
Since directing Beerfest in 2006 Chandrasekhar has ventured into the television world, directing episodes for Psych, Knight Rider, Lipstick Jungle, Chuck and MTV’s Human Giant.
Opposites will not be a Broken Lizard production.
