Pardon us for thinking astrologically, but one couldn’t help it after attending a recent birthday bash that brought together not one, not two, but five Aquarians at once.

Celebrating their birthdays at Joel Goodrich’s Nob Hill apartment were Derek Holbrook and his partner, Orkut Buyokkekten of Google, Adorean Boleancu of Wells Fargo (the party was co-hosted by his partner, Sophie Azouaou), Sergey Sharapoff, and Silvie Liss of the SanFranciscoSentinel.com Their birthdays were all just days apart!

Across town the same night, at the Cigar Bar & Grill, SFLuxe reader Princess Fati Farmanfarmaian celebrated her birthday.  Rather than bringing gifts, she asked friends to donate to ROCK (Real Options for City Kids),  an organization she has been passionate about for a while.

And while it would seem that there is no agreement among astrologers as to when the Age of Aquarius actually begins, you may be interested to know that the date described by the famous 1969 5th Dimension song, “Aquarius,” is actually February 14th, 2009 (coincidentally, this Valentine’s Day.)
