Lisa Grotts with her New Book, A Traveler’s Passport To Etiquette

Certified etiquette consultant Lisa Mirza Grotts recently hosted a book signing for her new book, A Traveler’s Passport to Etiquette, at the San Francisco Montblanc store located at 120 Grant Avenue.

A Traveler’s Passport to Etiquette marks Lisa’s literary debut, teaching readers all the important travel “Do’s” — from how to pack for a trip to how to travel safely.

Some of San Francisco’s most polished etiquette enthusiasts gathered at the Montblanc store to celebrate the author’s latest accomplishment. Guests, including former Mayor of San Francisco Willie Brown, had the opportunity to mingle with the author, purchase an advanced copy of the book and have their copy personally signed. A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefited San Francisco Suicide Prevention.

Meant for both the seasoned and not so seasoned traveler, A Traveler’s Passport to Etiquette will guide voyagers through the various phases of an airplane journey, whether it be for business or pleasure. The book emphasizes that although bad manners may be inescapable when traveling, one must do their best to live life by The Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would want others to do unto you.” Lisa believes that travelers must never forget that rule.

Currently residing in San Francisco, Lisa Grotts is founder and director of The AML Group, a certified etiquette and protocol consultancy, conducting seminars in the areas of business and social etiquette. Lisa believes the world is separated by two kinds of people: those who exhibit good manners and those who don’t.

By expanding her expertise to a new book, Lisa hopes to teach good manners to travelers around the world. As Lisa describes, “travel is an adventure, so why not make the most of it?”
