The fantastic new Zynga headquarters in San Francisco recently opened its doors for Fortune Magazine to celebrate the 2011 Fortune 40 Under 40 list, which highlights business’s hottest rising stars under 40 years of age.
To give you a sense of the kind of influential people at the party, the DJ for the night (Pandora co-Founder Tim Westergren) was named by Time as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

While the number one guy on the list, Mark Zuckerberg, was unable to make it to the event, several other heavy hitters from the list did attend, including Marissa Mayer, the VP for Local, Maps and Location Services at Google; Carolyn Everson, the VP of global marketing solutions at Facebook; David Rhodes, the President of CBS News; and Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi, the co-founders of Dropbox.
Other “40 Under 40″ listers we saw included Kevin Systrom, the CEO of Instagram; Bonin Bough, the senior global director of digital and social media at PepsiCo; Michael Hasenstab , the portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton; Mike Caren, the co-President of Atlantic/Elektra Records, Tor Myhren, the President and chief creative officer of Grey New York; Jeff George , the global head of Sandoz Novartis; and Alison Pincus and Susan Feldman, the co-founders of One Kings Lane.

We also spotted John Cantarella, the President of Digital for Time Inc.’s News Group, and Fortune publisher Jed Hartman.
Other media figures we noticed included Jennifer Raiser of SFWire, Gawker’s Ryan Tate, the San Francisco Chronicle’s Casey Newton and James Temple, and Carly Schwartz and Robin Wilkey from The Huffington Post.
