SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — After two years of rumors, Van Halen is finally hitting the road and fans can find Van Halen tickets featuring David Lee Roth listed at TicketLiquidator.com. The five-month tour comes on the heels of their twelfth studio album release, “A Different Kind of Truth,” set to hit stores in early February. “A Different Kind of Truth” will be Van Halen’s first new album since the release of “Van Halen III” back in 1998.
“What’s so exciting about the upcoming Van Halen tour, other than having David Lee Roth back on board, is the fact that they’ll be playing brand new material,” stated Ayla Keiser, Media Relations, Ticket Liquidator. “This is the first time Van Halen will release material with David Lee Roth fronting since 1984!”
The current Van Halen lineup includes: front man David Lee Roth, drummer Alex Van Halen, bassist Wolfgang Van Halen and guitarist Eddie Van Halen. The Van Halen 2007-2008 Tour featured the same lineup shortly after the controversial departure of bassist Michael Anthony who currently plays bass in the band Chickenfoot.
The Van Halen 2012 tour will kick off on February 18, 2012 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY. The tour will travel over five months of dates across the US and Canada before reaching its last reported venue at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA on June 26, 2012. Kool & The Gang will join the band as openers for select dates. Fans will be able to find tickets for all Van Halen dates during onsales directly at TicketLiquidator.com.
