James Deen says he’s excited to work with Lindsay Lohan in upcoming film ‘The Canyons.’
The 26-year-old adult film actor, who will star alongside Lohan in upcoming flick “The Canyons,” told E! News that despite all of the bad press the troubled starlet has garnered over the last few years, he’s excited to work with her.
“The only negative thing I’ve ever heard about her is in the press,” he told the site. “Honestly, everyone I know who’s actually worked with her has nothing but nice things to say.”
Deen, who admits that he’s “never met” the “Liz & Dick” actress, further gushed that if “her real image that I’ve been told (about) by people who know her personally is true, it’s going to be amazing.
“She’s going to be a pleasure and very fun and awesome.”
Woody Allen is another fan of the 25-year-old actress. Though he isn’t currently looking to adopt her as his new muse, the legendary director recently told Access Hollywood that he finds Lohan to be a “very talented girl.”
“If there was some legal reason I couldn’t (cast her), that would be a different story, but it would not concern me personally, no,” he told the reporter. “I think that she’d be just fine and she’d do a great job.
“As I say, she’s a very gifted girl and I would not hesitate. If I had something for her, I’d certainly call her.”
Lohan made headlines this weekend after she was found unconscious in her California hotel room Friday.
Medics rushed to her hotel room after the actress failed to report to the movie set, but later clarified that the scare was nothing more than some exhaustion and dehydration.
“Note to self,” she wrote on Twitter later. “After working 85hours in 4days, and being up all night shooting, be very aware that you might pass out from exhaustion & 7 paramedics MIGHT show up at your door.”
Deen, meanwhile, doesn’t foresee any problems with working long hours for “The Canyons.”
“I’m used to working all the time and (having a) hectic schedule,” he told E! News. “I’m working on a parody for ‘The Hangover’ now. It’s obviously not as intense of a project (as ‘The Canyons’) but it’s still a 30-page script and shot in four days.”
