Philanthropist Boutique in San Francisco, which generously hosts receptions for important non-profit organizations they believe in, recently invited customers to shop the store and learn about Teach for America, with part of the evening’s sales proceeds going to the organization.

Teach For America (TFA), founded by Wendy Kopp, is an American non-profit organization that aims to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting high-achieving recent college graduates and professionals to teach for two or more years in low-income communities throughout the United States.
The organization aspires for these “corps members” to gain the insight and added commitment to tackle the root causes of America’s achievement gap throughout their lives.
