Restaurants usually aren’t gender-specific, but Eva Longoria hopes to mix femininity and filet mignon by opening  SHe, her Las Vegas steakhouse for women.

While men are also welcome, the restaurant concept is aimed at women, and will include a catwalk and dance floor, the New York Daily News reports.

Longoria has previous restaurant experience. She has closed her two former Vegas destinations, Beso and Eve, and will consolidate those locations to create SHe by Morton’s, a 1920s-themed eatery and nightlife spot serving up dishes and small plates along with a host of spicy performances.

SHe aims to combine club culture with the global world of entertainment to create a female-friendly experience,” Longoria said in a statement quoted by the Houston Business Journal.

The new spot is expected to open on New Year’s Eve, with a modern boutique steakhouse menu catering to women by offering smaller plates and portions than the usual steakhouse fare. Beyond the food, the eatery offers a female-centered experience, including a runway for fashion shows, tiered seating around a central dance floor, Cirque du Soleil-type performers and “cryogenic fog and rain curtains.”

Cuisine at SHe will be crafted by chef Todd Mark Miller, the former corporate chef of STK Las Vegas Steakhouse at the Cosmopolitan, another female-oriented Vegas restaurant that recently earned headlines for its jewel-encrusted steak knives provided to VIPs only.

To bring the idea to life, Longoria has teamed with Tilman Fertitta, the CEO of Landry’s Inc, which acquired Beso in August 2011. That club and restaurant had filed for bankruptcy in January 2011, and reportedly was losing nearly $76,000 a month.

SHe restaurant is an updated interpretation of the gilded age when wealth and excessive opulence ruled America’s upper-class combined with a modern version of art deco to create a feeling of empowerment, especially for female guests,” reads a Landry’s press release. “We are thrilled to launch this new concept that is the unification of a modern boutique steakhouse with a theatrical nightclub.”
