Angus T. Jones won’t quit “Two and a Half Men,” according to TMZ.

Sources connected with the actor said Jones feels terrible that he caused huge problems for the cast and crew. When he recorded the video trashing the show and calling it “filth,” he had no idea the story would blow up.

Someone needs to sit this kid down and explain the whole “Internet” thing.

The source said Jones says he’s always felt “invisible” and believed no one really cared what he thought about the show or anything else. Therefore, he’s stunned at the reaction to the video.

TMZ reported Jones will finish out the season and complete his contractual obligations, though it’s almost certain he’ll leave after this season. Apparently he wanted to quit after last season, but his reps and family convinced him it would be “stupid” to walk out on a contract that could earn him as much as $15 million.

Tuesday, Jones backed off of comments regarding the show being “filth” and that people shouldn’t watch it. The 19-year-old — who’s recently had a religious conversion — issued a statement Tuesday through his PR firm, saying, “I have been the subject of much discussion, speculation and commentary over the past 24 hours. While I cannot address everything that has been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear. Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful

people on ‘Two and Half Men’ with whom I have worked over the past ten years and who have become an extension of my family.”

GABRIEL AUBRY DENIED: Halle Berry’s ex-beau Gabriel Aubry still can’t visit his daughter.

A judge rejected his request to have Berry’s restraining order against him lifted. Berry got the temporary order last week, after Aubry fought with Berry’s fiance Olivier Martinez on Thanksgiving in Berry’s driveway.

We use the word “fight” as a technical term. It was really more like Aubrey attacking Martinez’s fists with his face.

Aubrey went to the hospital with a black eye and other facial bruises, then was arrested on suspicion of battery charges. In other words, It probably wasn’t one of his better holidays.

According to TMZ, the restraining order was initially set in place until Dec. 3, but on Monday a judge said the order can only stay in effect until Nov. 29. It prohibits Gabriel from going within 100 yards of Berry, Nahla, his daughter with Berry, or Martinez.

That’s right. Aubrey has to stay away from Martinez; his face may still pose a risk to Martinez’s fists.

Berry’s lawyers say they will return to court later this week in an attempt to make the restraining order permanent.

JESSICA SIMPSON MAY BE PREGNANT AGAIN: Hatching a cleverly conceived plot to continue her relationship with Jenny Craig, or Weight Watchers, or whatever, Jessica Simpson is reportedly pregnant again.

Seven months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, the singer is once again knocked up, according to Us Weekly.

“It definitely wasn’t planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again,” a source reveals to Us. The surprise baby-to-be is the second for Simpson and her fiance, former San Francisco 49ers tight end Eric Johnson.

Him again? He sure hit the fertility jackpot.

A rep for Simpson had no comment. Which is basically the same as hanging a sign outside the office, screaming “CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEXT JENNY CRAIG CONTRACT, JESSICA SIMPSON!”

Simpson, as you may have figured out, made a lot of money from Jenny Craig, losing 70 pounds of post-baby weight. Now guess what she gets to do? That’s right — time to pull a stool up to the buffet.

Engaged for the past two years, Simpson, 32, and Johnson, 33, welcomed Maxwell — a whopping 9-pound, 13-ounce bundle of joy — on May 1.

“Motherhood is a dream,” Simpson told Katie Couric in September. “It really is absolutely amazing.”

I’ll bet it’s a dream … when you have enough money to pay someone to get up in the middle of the night to deal with the diaper-bombs.

STEVEN TYLER SORT OF APOLOGIZES: Steven Tyler says Nicki Minaj is wrong, and that he’s no racist.

And to prove it, he held up a picture and said “I had this black friend in high school …”

No, that’s what other white people do. Not Steven Tyler, who nevertheless issued a semi-apology to Minaj for saying something that didn’t seem to insult her race, just her ability to judge talent.

In an interview with MTV, the former “American Idol” judge Tyler questioned whether the new judges — including Minaj — were maybe too self-absorbed and lacked the ability to spot and nurture young, inexperienced talent.

Tyler said Minaj “would have sent (Bob Dylan) back to the cornfield” if he had been a contestant on the show.

Nicki fired back on Twitter, “That’s a racist comment. You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go (expletive) yourself and worry about yourself babe.”

According to TMZ, on Tuesday, Tyler explained himself on the Canadian talk show, “eTalk,” saying, “I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki, but I am the farthest from (being a racist). I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don’t know where she got that out of me saying I’m not sure how she would’ve judged Bob Dylan.”

WILL FERRELL’S FIERY THANKSGIVING: Will Ferrell’s Thanksgiving was interrupted when the house he was in caught fire.

See? They said he’d be punished for doing that Barack Obama ad.

Actually it wasn’t Ferrell’s house, but that of a relative in Needham, Mass., according to TMZ. The family was in the middle of eating when one of the kids in the house notice that a fire had ignited in the garage.

Being that the town was called Needham, this is where I boldly resist the urge to make a joke saying, if the turkey was lost, the family might “need ham.”

Thanks. I’ll be here all week.

Firefighters showed up and doused the blaze. No one was injured and there was no major damage.

TMZ said Ferrell hung out with the firefighters — hopefully after they were done putting out the fire — cracking jokes and taking pictures with them.

SHIA LEBEOUF LEAVES GIRLFRIEND FOR TEEN: Shia LaBeouf might be some sort of weird thespian genius. Then again, maybe one of those Transformer things slapped him in the head one too many times.

According to the New York Daily News, the actor has parted ways with his longtime girlfriend in favor of “Nymphomaniac” co-star Mia Goth, the 19-year-old actress he got close to while shooting Lars von Trier’s upcoming film.

Really close. Like, they-couldn’t-get-any-closer close.

LaBeouf broke up with stylist/designer Karolyn Pho “a while ago” after two years of dating, a source told Us Weekly, and things have reportedly been heating up with Goth ever since.

“They’ve kept their relationship under wraps, but they pretty much started dating after he broke off things with Karolyn a few months ago,” a source told RadarOnline.

LaBeouf and Goth were spotted together on the day before Thanksgiving in Los Angeles and are reportedly very comfortable together.

“He got to know Mia on set and quickly became enamored of her,” the source said, according to Radar. “They have similar interests, they love alternative music, thrift stores and she is edgy and funny, which Shia loves.”

They also both apparently like having real sex in indie films.

LaBeouf’s relationship with Pho was reportedly damaged over — go figure — work on von Trier’s controversial new film, in which the actors engage in real sex scenes.

“They’ve been on the rocks ever since Shia agreed to star in ‘Nymphomaniac,’” a source told RadarOnline. “Karolyn doesn’t want him having sex with somebody else — simple.”

How incredibly unreasonable of her.

Director von Trier is notorious for pushing the boundaries with his actors, and has shot several sexually explicit films in the past.

LaBeouf told the Hollywood Reporter in August that he took the job “because (von Trier’s) dangerous. He scares me. And I’m only going to work now when I’m terrified.”

Well, then he should make another Indiana Jones movie. Just about everyone is scared of that.

LaBeouf is apparently already into his new pal, even meeting Goth’s parents in her native London.

“They’re already spending a lot of time together, not just with work, but also have been hitting the town,” the source said. “Mia has made Shia very happy and he’s certainly found a party buddy for the time being.”

“Karolyn gets that Shia likes to go method and appreciates his artistic integrity,” a source told RadarOnline at the time. “However, she thinks performing a real sex scene in a movie is going too far. It’s difficult for her to understand why it can’t be simulated — just like in other films.”

Well, then she doesn’t understand real art. Just like those people who make those straight-to-DVD movies in the San Fernando Valley involving the pizza boy making a delivery to the local sorority house. That’s real art, right there.

But Pho, 23, later told the Daily News the split wasn’t over LaBeouf’s on-screen sex life.

“It’s none of anybody’s business,” she said. “Everything is fine with us. It was nothing affiliated with his movie.”

Of course not.

Insight – EBay's double tax base prompts calls for investigation

EBay’s nomination of Luxembourg unit eBay Europe Sarl – with a staff of nine – as its provider of services to EU clients allows it to charge customers in Europe a low rate of sales tax, often known as Value Added Tax, helping it to compete against rivals. However, the unit doesn’t actually receive the money from sales. Instead, eBay said it continues to channel revenues through a Berne-based unit, allowing the company also to benefit from what Swiss tax lawyers say is the most competitive corporate income tax regime in Europe. EU rules allow companies to establish subsidiaries in Luxembourg and levy VAT at Luxembourg’s low VAT rate on sales to customers across the bloc. However, the rules also allow individual EU taxmen to challenge any claim to Luxembourg residence, and the right to charge Luxembourg VAT, in their domestic courts, if the taxman feels a Luxembourg-based subsidiary does not have sufficient staff or assets to support its claim to be the true supplier of goods or services. Tax experts say eBay’s arrangement, which appears to give eBay the best of both income and sales tax worlds, could be open to challenge, and MPs in the UK and Germany want their taxmen to investigate. “I hope that HMRC (UK tax authority Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs) takes note …
