Martha Stewart at The Candy Store, 1507 vallejo Street, San Francisco
Martha Stewart recently visited San Francisco and was, “charmed, as always, by its energy, innovative food scene, and stunning natural beauty.”
In the July/August 2013 issue, you’ll find a wonderful guide to her favorite people and places in the City, and at marthastewart.com/san-francisco you can see a special map she created for visitors to San Francisco who want to experience it as she did.
Boulettes Larder, Tartine Bakery & Cafe, Woodward’s Garden, La Taqueria, Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, Frog Hollow Farm, Caffe Greco, Molinari Delicatessen, Swan Oyster Depot, The Candy Store, Plow, Zuni Cafe, Bell’occhio, MAC (Modern Appealing Clothing), March, State Bird Provisions, Ritual Coffee, and International Orange Spa are among her favorites.
I have to confess that there were quite a few places I hadn’t been to myself! You can download the map at this link.
Elsewhere in Martha -related news, I was interested to read in the August 2013 issue of Harper’s Bazaar that her personal tech arsenal to get through the day is comprised of 1 BlackBerry for phone calls, 1 BlackBerry for e-mail, 1 iPhone, 1 Pad for reading, and 1 iPad for e-mail.
It makes sense that she would need so many devices, since none of them can do everything perfectly on their own. But wasn’t technology supposed to make things easier?
